Stopover in Paris : what to do and when to leave
Charles de Gaulle combines widely separated terminals, border controls and a long journey to Paris. A seemingly large stopover can quickly narrow between CDGVal, RER B and the return to the correct terminal.
With less than 8 hours, it is usually better to stay in CDG. From 9–10 hours a short trip to the Île de la Cité or the Seine can fit in if you have confirmed entry, checked luggage to the destination and ample return time.
